What is Greenpoint Open Studios?
Greenpoint Open Studios is a grassroots effort that aims to provide a free and open platform for local arts that builds, sustains, and supports the thriving creative community in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
For one weekend, hundreds of artists and designers open up their studios to the public to showcase work in a wide range of mediums. From paintings, sculptures, film, photography, weaving/textiles, ceramics, and more, there are seasoned artists to be visited and emerging artists to be discovered in the northernmost tip of Brooklyn.
Main Schedule of Events
Thursday May 21st: Artist Social | Maison Mono 6pm – 9pm
Come meet the artists and celebrate another year of GOS! – RSVP coming soon
Saturday & Sunday May 30 – 31st | Greenpoint Open Studios Weekend 12pm – 6pm both days
The main event – Over 200 creative spaces will be open across Greenpoint! Map your route using our digital map and artist listings.
Sunday may 31st | Closing Party & The Great Brooklyn Pottery Throwdown 5:30pm – 9:00pm
Join us for a wrap party in partnership with ClaySpace and the Brooklyn Ceramics Art Tour. The pottery competition will be held from 5:30-7:30 in the courtyard outside ClaySpace, followed by a community celebration.
