Clay Space 1205

1205 Manhattan Ave
Suite 2-4-1

Glyph Designs is pleased to offer opportunities to individual artists to join its ceramics collaborative, Clay Space 1205, whose mission is to foster creative ceramics production in a group environment where artists share the materials, tools and education that promote their craft. It is a haven for ceramic artists and lovers of clay nestled in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This 3,000 square foot loft space is a fully equipped ceramic facility and show space that fosters a creative, communal environment for clay artists to grow and thrive. We encourage those seeking to work with clay in a professional way as well as those who work with clay as a passion.

Currently on exhibit in our show space, "The Peephole", is Jessica Perelman at home with ambiguity.

Wabi Sabi is a Japanese aesthetic. Wabi: Tranquil simplicity, imperfect or irregular beauty, in a natural state. Sabi: Beauty that treasures the passage of time and the lonely sense of impermanence it evokes.

Wabi Sabi Art Lab is offering the community a portal to observe, perceive, and interact in the nature of play, surprise and beauty.
