The artist was born in Boston and attended Massachusetts College of Art. He has been in group art shows and one man shows in and around New England. He moved to NYC 6 years ago and has been soaking up the culture of the streets.
Having aways been involved in drawing and painting, collage became his main focus of his work in the mid-90s. This medium allowed for more free flowing associations and unexpected juxtapositions.
The differences between reality, perception and imagination are at the forefront of his concerns. While many artists find inspiration in landscapes, this artist evokes mindscapes.
The objective reality we all share is where we do most of our commercial endevours. It is how we stay alive, pay bills, ECT.. It is the personal experiences that are subjective, those experiences are the ones this artist suggests are underrated. Embrace your subjective reality for it is the only one that is yours, and yours alone.
Peace to all the people who dare to think differently and take the time and effort to share it with the world.
