I'm Patrick Rafferty, an artist and clinical psychologist living and working in Brooklyn and Manhattan. My work focuses on the use of color and brushstrokes to convey emotion. I explore masculinity, vulnerability, longing, and mortality in my paintings. I did not train formally in painting. I did my psychological clinical training at The New School and my clinical work focuses on Relational and Interpersonal Psychoanalysis, Attachment Disorders, and the intersection of gender and personality.
