Searching for ones meaning, sense of direction, and sense of self is a fluctuating, fluid process.
Nothing is ever concrete. We surround ourselves with the comforting solidity of things because they offer a false sense of stability. Objects often serve as projections, or external symbols of who we are and how we want people to perceive us.
The paintings I create is a way for me to find some stability and control over this chaos, so I don't get swept away in the current.
