My life as an artist is about exploring nature of the heart and mind. The process is about being one with my materials and tools. This is essential in working with the 5 energies. Earth, wind, water, fire, and space.
These components are inherent in all my work no matter what medium I am working in. There is tenderness, joy, and humor in connecting with our interdependence.
Recently my studio has evolved as the Wabi Sabi Art Lab. Wabi Sabi is a Japanese aesthetic.
Wabi: Tranquil simplicity, imperfect or irregular beauty, in a natural state. Sabi: Beauty that treasures the passage of time and the lonely sense of impermanence it evokes.
Art Lab is offering the community a portal to observe, perceive, and interact in the nature of play, surprise and beauty.
Wabi Sabi has an interactive installation waiting for your participation.
